SPEAKERS AT THE 2007 CONFERENCE
Please note that the speaker’s schedule has changed.

The 2007 conference in Salt Lake City is hosting some exciting speakers from all around the world. The following is a sample of their topics:

Keynote speaker on Wednesday:

DONNA EDEN, USA: Triple Warmer: It’s Hotter Than You Think
Triple Warmer plays a larger role in the body’s energies than has usually been described. It is a meridian. It is a strange flow. It is more. It is the energy system that governs the immune response, the fight-or-fight response, and the establishment of survival habits. Participants will learn to check for triple warmer involvement in a range of conditions and will learn techniques for immediately bringing balance to triple warmer and activating the strange flows.

Keynote speaker on Thursday:

Dr. CHARLES KREBS, Australia: Homeostasis and Stress: Chaos Theory
This talk will explore how chaos theory provides an understanding of the role of set-up in kinesiology as well as a holistic model for healing. We will acquire an in-depth understanding of a powerful model for healing based upon the current scientific models of homeostasis and stress and the chaos theory.

Keynote speaker on Friday:

SVETLANA MASGUTOVA, Poland: Reflex Integration and Implication for Learning, Development and Health
Reflex Integration is a new concept of supporting the natural genetic inner programs of a person in the three aspects of functioning: 1.) sensory stimulation and recognition of it by our sensory system, 2.) brain processing (recognition of the stimuli on the level of protection or development), 3.) and motor response. Reflex Patterns Integration Process is a phenomenal support for learning, development and health care.

Keynote speaker on Saturday:

Dr. JAMES OSCHMAN, USA: Energy Medicine
Modern research science is validating and explaining the beneficial effects of a wide range of complementary therapies. Dr. Oschman will give us an overview of the healing power of subtle energy fields. As scientists increasingly recognize how living organisms consist of dynamic energy systems, we can all begin to see that “vibrational medicines are not magic or superstition; they are based on biology, chemistry and physics.”

Other speakers include:

ALBERTO ARRIBALZAGA, Spain: Holographic Biomagnetic Patterns To Get Our Soul Energy Back
When we have conflict or sudden stresses in our life, our Soul Energy may be detached from its place. This affects the body in layers (the body, gland, and organ levels), which follow the same patterns of detachment. Our Soul Energy is then replaced by microorganisms or other sick energies. We will learn the correct formatting for the Holographic Biomagnetic Patterns through which we can recover the Energy of the Soul on all levels.

AMY CHOI, Hong Kong, China: Introduction to Qi Gong Balance
Kinesiologists in the west have made use of Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts and techniques in developing applied kinesiology and later Touch For Health. Since then, many new kinesiology techniques and theories have been developed based on other Oriental energetic models. Qi Gong is the discipline of cultivating universal energy and is an area yet to be explored by kinesiologists. It is very powerful work, and when combined with kinesiology’s biofeedback techniques, the power is even more noticeable and obvious.

SUE CORRIGAN, USA: Lifepath: The Place for Spirituality in the Work and a Quest for the Soul
We, as practitioners, are so very familiar with the concepts of "body intelligence" and "body wisdom" as well as the tools of such things as muscle testing/checking, neurolymphatics, etc. As we expand our knowledge and skills it is important for us to ask ourselves if we have become too attached to "technique" while perhaps leaving behind "spirit" - the essence of who we really are.

DAVID FEINSTEIN, USA: Kinesiology for the Psyche: New Field of Energy Psychology
In the early 1980s, students of George Goodheart began applying AK to psychological issues. Over the past two decades, this work has developed into a robust field of practice. Participants will learn about this field and how it can be introduced into their practices. Energy psychology is one of the important ways that kinesiology is moving out into the world.

SANDY GANNON, England: Feng Shui in the Home and Workplace
Participants will be given a basic understanding of the nature of energy flowing around the body, through dwellings and workplaces. Common problems affecting flows will be identified and cures will be given. An introduction to the Ba Gua (pa Kua) applied in the tradition of the black hat sect will enable them to change the nature of the energy flow in the building to give advantage to its occupants.

DEBRA GREEN, USA: Seven Bodies Model: Where Do the Answers in Kinesiology Come From?
This talk will address the Seven Bodies model and its etheric interface. We will explore the science involved in the model, and address the kinesiology question from the perspective of both art and science.

STAN HALL, USA: PSYCH-K
Learn how to change subconscious perceptions of stressful situations without having to uncover the source or cause of them, often in a matter of seconds. Gain a broader understanding of how simple self-discovery, healing, and growth can be.

MARCIA HART, USA: Detoxification: Effectively Removing Chemicals and Heavy Metals
This talk will discuss what detoxification strategies are effective in removing chemicals and heavy metals from the body. We will pay particular attention to the effective practices of detoxification.

JOHN HOLODNAK, Australia: The Candida Syndrome – The Emotional Struggle and Survival Syndrome
This talk will address the Candida Syndrome (superficial or systemic) – what it is and why it is increasingly becoming a major health crisis in our world today. It can be behind many other health related conditions (psychological, neurological, psychological or a combination) that hinder the body’s functioning and possibly alter an individual’s personality. We will look into what is happening behind the scenes and what format protocols need to be considered in order to restore the body back to harmony.

KENICHI ISHIMARU, Japan: Zen Kinesiology
Kinesiology is more effective when regarded as Zen. I will introduce you to the Zen-like goal setting interview method named Zen Counseling. The vision of Zen is simple: everyone is a Buddha, an enlightened being. Zen Counseling is not counseling, in a way, because no advice is allowed. I regard my client as a Buddha. I know my clients have the ability to find their answer by themselves. I just listen relaxed – this is the key of Zen Counseling.

ADAM LEHMAN, USA: Putting Context Into Practice – Energy Kinesiology is a Communication Tool
Energy Kinesiology is a communication tool. By putting into practice the use of the tool as a dialogue technique rather than a one-way communication, kinesiologists can use their knowledge to pursue information from the body, rather than waiting for the body to show it to them. We will explore a selection of brain formats to help develop context, which allows us to become more focused on using what we know to go deeper in a session.

LORI MacKINDER, USA: Passion Mapping
The signature of an inspired life is its fluidity and effortlessness in bringing to reality what you love. The Passion Mapping map-making process is specially designed to integrate your intellectual, emotional and sensory faculties in an exciting new way. You will be guided in the art of tuning into your bodily responses to move into a deeply intuitive and clear space. From there you can access the intelligence of your body-mind connection and gain a whole new perspective on your life.

EVELYN MULDERS, Canada: Western Herbs for Eastern Meridians and 5 Element Theory
Herbs have a three-dimensional aspect to them, and when used inside of energy balancing, affect the body on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. Herbs are more than a biochemical correction; they also carry vibrational information. While taking an herb on the physical level, focusing on the emotional cause of the imbalance, and contemplating the metaphysical message of the herb, the body will take the balance on all three dimensions, thus providing holistic healing.

DR. JIMMY SCOTT, USA: Biochemistry and Nutrition
Learn how the biochemistry of the body is affected by your nutritional choices. Nutrition provides the building blocks necessary for proper functioning of the body, and brain.

CARRIE THIE, USA: Back to the Future with Touch For Health – Energy Kinesiology Association
Human beings are the subject of the art (skill) and science (systematic-formulated knowledge) of EnKA – TFH. The content of this talk has to do with people discovering more about how the body works and sharing that information with others. We may note the seeds of the future in that beginning.

MATTHEW THIE, USA: Communication, Consciousness and Self-Care
This talk is very specific to particular principles of effective communication as a personal growth process. We will discuss how these principles form a crucial underpinning to the self-responsibility / non-diagnostic model of Touch For Health and Energy Kinesiology.

Svetlana Masgutova Workshop: Birthing Reflexes (3 days) Fee: $370
The Masgutova Reflex Integration Method presents a new concept of supporting the natural genetic inner programs of a person in the three aspects of functioning: sensory stimulation and recognition of it by our sensory system, brain processing (recognition of the stimuli by the brain on the level of protection or development), and motor response.

The Reflex Integration Program is based on non-invasive and soft integrating processes plus playful exercises. The results of the program show the importance of primary movements such as the sensory, motor and proprioceptive systems. These systems influence learning, development and health.

Alberto Arribalzaga Celaya Workshop: Multidimensional Holographic Biomagnetism and Sacred Geometry - $240
The life energy of our body, organs, glands, etc. is mainly our Soul Energy, which is a high consciousness energy that interpenetrates every cell and organ. When we suffer shocks, or we feel betrayed, or helpless, our Soul Energy is removed or detached from its place. This affects the body in layers (the whole body, the intelligences, neurology, glands and organ) that follow the same patterns of detachment. Our Soul Energy is then replaced by microorganisms or other sick energies. I have discovered that there are Holographic Biomagnetic Patterns, using magnets, through which we can recover the Energy of the Soul, at the whole body and all layers by the appropriate formatting. (New developed formats). Sacred Geometry supplies new high consciousness spaces where the person is able to reach solutions easily and with a greater level of understanding to attain his goal.

Amy Choi Workshop: Qi Gong Qi-ensiology Balance (1 day) $250 - Cancelled
Learn how traditional energy-cultivating and energy flow facilitation techniques used by the Chinese can be integrated with the bio-feedback techniques of muscle-checking to create results of better health, learning and performance.

Qi Gong is the discipline of cultivating universal energy and is an area yet to be explored by kinesiologists. It is very powerful work, and when combined with kinesiology’s biofeedback techniques, the power is even more noticeable and obvious.

Debra Greene Workshop: Inner Clarity Intensive (2 days) $295
Einstein said that a problem cannot be solved on the same level in which it was created. This is especially true for the physical level. If we “look behind” the physical body, we find the Energy Body, which is the precursor to any imbalance that manifests in the physical body. In this training, you will learn about the Energy Body, its components, and ways to clear out the distortion patterns that predispose illness and prevent permanent healing. This is an intensive—a 3-day training packed into 2 days—and a rare opportunity to learn how to reveal and transform blockages at the core.

This training includes:

 Ways to Get More Reliable Answers
 The Energy Constitution of the Human
 Special Focus on the Energy Body
 The Physical, Emotional and Mental Bodies
 The Frequency Continuum
 The Role of Distortion Patterns
 The Energetics of Disease
 The Law of Intent: Energy Follows Intent
 Muscle Testing for Goal-Focusing
 Precision Muscle Testing to Pinpoint Core Beliefs
 Involving the Whole Body-Mind-Spirit
 The Ray Color Personality Indicator
 Using Ray Energy for Transformation
 The Ray Color Balance Process
 Maintenance of Energy

Dr. Debra Greene has dedicated her life to the study and practice of subtle energies. She trained exclusively with Grethe Fremming, Past President of the International Kinesiology College, and she is a certified Transformational Kinesiology Educator. Debra holds a dual Ph.D. in Communication and Somatics and is a regular teacher at Esalen. She has a private practice on Maui, where she lives, and in the San Francisco Bay area, her second home.

Please contact Debra at debra@DebraGreene.com for more details.

Debra Hurt & Kathy Guhl Workshop: Ethics One- Chiron: The Wounded Healer (1 day) $100
In the basic ethics workshop we will explore the myth of Chiron, the Wounded Healer. We will examine our deepest ethical beliefs and how they are challenged by our own personal internal wounds. The workshop is interactive, and includes role-playing, group discussion and balancing. This is the first class in a series of three workshops addressing ethics in the Energy Kinesiology field.

Debra Hurt & Kathy Guhl Workshop: Ethics Two  (1 day) $100
This is the second in a series of three workshop exploring ethics in the energy kinesiology field. The course will focus on ethical behavior, by practitioners, teachers, students and clients, and the importance it has on the growth and acceptance of our discipline.

KP Khalsa Workshop: Nutritional Kinesiology (2 days) $250
If you have always wanted to integrate nutritional therapy into your kinesiology work, yet it seemed to daunting to tackle, this workshop is for you.

Muscle testing is the simplest and most direct method for connecting the conscious mind with the body’s wisdom. It gives accurate, repeatable results. We will use muscle testing to assess nutritional needs, match specific supplement products or food to the individual and determine dose.

Kinesionics uses these techniques with highly accurate procedures that make nutritional analysis far more precise and specific than many kinesiologists have previously experienced.

Many experienced kinesiologists find that, with the techniques in this workshop, they can rapidly attain a dramatically enhanced level of effectiveness in the practice of health care.

  • Find nutritional imbalances- sometimes years before they become
    symptoms

  • Make sense out of the bewildering array of nutritional choices-
    immediately

  • Choose immediately between several brands that all sound good on the label

  • Chose between several forms of a nutrient. Perhaps the party line is not the way for you.

  • Determine the effect of a nutrient on the rest of your body.

  • Avoid side effects.

  • Maximize and individualize doses.

  • Optimize nutritional therapy.

Muscle Testing and Kinesionics
The human body’s processes are largely hidden from view. Most of us are hardly aware of the functions that our bodies continually perform; we give them no conscious thought until some discomfort attracts our attention. Yet it is the “normal” functioning that is truly magnificent. Who can comprehend the ways by which each body maintains a  constant temperature of 98.6 when moving from a warm room into a very cold winter’s day? Who knows all the processes that are initiated when we sit down to a meal? When we wake from a night’s sleep, hundreds of other changes take place that we don’t perceive. Yet, we easily do far more than this every day of our lives. A hidden wisdom functions within us. We can call this body-wisdom.

To those already familiar with muscle testing, Kinesionics will provide a new set of resources for exploring the mystery of the human being. Those unacquainted with muscle testing, who are eager to learn more about improving their own health, will, with practice, also benefit.

Kinesionics uses muscle testing to provide access to body-wisdom’s assessments. A muscle test amplifies minute instant fluctuations in the nervous system’s energy, reflecting body-wisdom’s response to any sample input or environmental condition.

Kinesionics enlists body-wisdom to identify an individual’s current health needs and to find effective therapies. We can address physical, emotional and mental aspects. Effective therapies can be found and confidently applied to imbalances ranging all the way from obvious chronic pains to factors that may develop into chronic disorders in twenty years.

Perhaps more importantly, Kinesionics is a way to clarify regeneration and self-healing. It amplifies the immediate and vital effects of our enthusiastic movement toward harmony in body, mind, and spirit. As living and learning beings, we are capable of improving our experience more than we have ever imagined.

Kinesionics, in particular, provides ways to determine that your body-wisdom is prepared to give accurate information, and that neither of our systems will interfere.

This two day (12 class hours) workshop qualifies for 12 hours of the new EnKA nutritional education requirements for certification.

Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa, DN-C, RH, NCTMB, is a state certified dietitian-nutritionist, nationally registered herbalist, nationally certified massage therapist and one of the original members of The International Association of Specialized Kinesiologists, the predecessor to EnKA.. He is the author of over 1000 published health articles, several DVDs, and has written or edited 30 books and on health topics, including the recent Body Balance, on nutritional chemistry, The Secrets of Chinese Herbs and Solving the Riddle of Fibromyalgia. He is a professor at Bastyr University’s College of Naturopathic Medicine, where he trains naturopathic medical students, a national officer in The American Herbalists Guild and a certified education provider for The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Khalsa wrote the longest running and most popular column for America’s oldest health magazine, Let’s Live, currently writes a nutrition column for Better Nutrition and edits a column for The Journal of Herbal Pharmacotherapy. He is a senior editor for Natural Standard, from Harvard University. K.P. Khalsa has been a practicing specialized kinesiologist for 35 years. The system he researched and developed, Kinesionics, was one of the first to be approved for the IASK professional membership credential. Khalsa is the nutritionist and development chemist for the Yogi Tea and Peace Cereal natural foods products. He lives in Eugene, Oregon, with his family.

Here’s what students are saying:

”I had the privilege of attending a 40 hour Nutritional course provided by Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa as a requirement for professional certification with the Energy Kinesiology association. The course was very informative and KP was a wealth of information. I gained a lot of clarity around the use of herbs which dispelled my previous perspective that herbs were something I took in spite of their non-apparent results. Potency and the body's preferences eliminated this quandary. KP is very personable and is a wonderful teacher; I whole-heartedly recommend any of his courses.” Michael King

“Seminars overflow with practical, dynamic information for health and…totally unique… nothing short of miraculous.” S. Singh, Therapeutic Counselor

“…Sophisticated, keenly sensitive technique.” D. Dragon, M.T.

“ … work represents some of the most encompassing and accurate in the field . . . KINESIONICS presents a unified field approach that allows the practitioner to tune into the needs of the clients in a very specific and pragmatic manner . . . demonstrated a new level of accuracy and the specificity in assessing effects of my music on muscles, organs . . .” Steven Halpern, Ph.D., Halpern Sounds

Evelyn Mulders Workshop: Herbs and Kinesiology (Half-day) Fee: (to be determined)
Learn how herbs can affect health and balance. Touch For Health Instructors may take this class with an eye toward teaching it themselves.

John Holodnak Workshop: The Candida Syndrome – The Emotional – Spiritual Self-Struggle and Survival
Syndrome (2 Days) $275.00.
The Candida Syndrome has been around for a long time (since the beginning of mankind) but in the last few years there has been more of an increase in the number of people having or developing this condition. Candida can be behind many other health-related conditions (psychological, neurological, psychological or a combination). More often than not, it can be part of another health condition that hinders the body’s functioning and possibly alters the individuals’ personality. Many therapists attempt to address this condition, but only scratch the surface. The focus is to assist practitioners into looking more closely at what is happening behind the scenes and provide insights into what format protocols need to be considered in order to restore the body back to harmony.

This workshop will look at the variety of sabotage programs that are in the individual’s belief system, how they affect the body physically, chemically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, and how that can trigger Candida. Looking at the differences between superficial and systemic Candida and the physiology behind it, we will explore how Candida affects the body and the mind. The body provides sign indications which assists the practitioner in confirming this syndrome. Importantly, the workshop looks at providing the practitioner with formatted protocols that can be used alongside their existing skills to assist with clearing this syndrome, along with supportive regimes pertained to diet, herbs, homeopathics, nutrition and essences.

TFH Update with the IKC Faculty Members 2 Day Workshop $295.00
Start off the New Year or this year's TFH Conference with the TFH Faculty who will not only fine tune your TFH skills and muscle tests, answer your questions on techniques but will also inspire you to use TFH and teach you how to best market your classes.

The Skills Update is also suggested for TFH 4 grads who want to go on to take the TFH Instructor Training or just wish to update their skills.
